Dear Friends of Christ Our Savior,

I want you to come to Christ Our savior because here you will hear preaching of Christ crucified. You will hear clear law and gospel proclaimed and applied with deep humility and compassion. At Christ Our savior you will be loved unconditionally. It is my joy and privilege to serve as pastor of Christ Our Savior since January first of this year and I am looking forward to many years of hard work together with them in mission and outreach to the Defiance area and around the world. “Come over and help us”, the man from Macedonia called out to Paul in a dream. That is what I am asking you to do. Come over and help us! What a joy it is to work together. Peace be with you.

Love in Christ,

Pastor Lee Genter

Our Prayer Ministry

COS Logo seed head blackPrayer - the most powerful spiritual force at our disposal - is often only used as a last resort. At Christ Our Savior we have an active prayer ministry that touches people lives with the loving power of our Heavenly Father.

A download of our "Personal Prayer List" is available to you free of charge.  (Print double-sided, short edge to short edge. Then cut in quarters, fold and staple.)

Our Hospice Ministry

Our trained hospice volunteers give palliative care and emotional comfort to terminally ill patients and their families in Glen Park, Kingsberry Place, and The Laurels.

We do not seek to postpone or hasten death. Instead, we seek to improve the quality of life, committed to the principle that people deserve to live the last moments of their life in comfort, dignity and peace - and support them with the love of Jesus.
